I'm not sure where to post this, so here it is.
I have a cingular wireless modem, and I was having trouble with the NAT in Azureus (not entirely sure how NAT works...) so I did some research and it appeared that the ports on which NAT was operating were being blocked. I have no router or firewall, either software of hardware, so I wasn't sure how this could happen. I went to www.grc.com (http://www.grc.com) and ran some of their security tests, and surprisingly, I passed every one with flying colors. My PC is completely invisible to the web. Every port that I test is in stealth mode. Yet I have done nothing to try and protet myself. according to GRC this means that my ISP (cingular) is blocking ports to prevet their customers from doing whatever, and that make sense due to the limited bandwith that a cellular signal can offer, but when I called them, a customer service rep. told me that they don't block any ports. She had me check the windows firewall (for the thousandth time) and then said it must be the software I'm using. I have no idea why or how I'm so secure, but its starting to limit what I can do, so anyone with any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
