I have a lot of questions concerning this topic, I have some answers but need some confirmation from professionals.
What is the most appropriate and for which profile of company?

In my definition, Software vs Hardware firewall is meant for border firewall to protect a whole network. Software are just running on top of an OS while Hardware are turn key system. For me, both sit at the entry point of the network and protect many computers.

It is generally adviced to combine personal firewall with a border firewall. Isn't it to expensive to do so?? if I install personal firewall for my 10 computers, how do I make sure they all fully function. how do I manage them. Is there any central management for them. If yes, can it be called personal firewall??
