are there any good , free to download and trouble free firewalls for windows vista home basic ? thanks !!!

I know this is an old post, but doesn't Vista comes with a built in Firewall? If you do not want to use that, I would highly recommend using a router/firewall combo. There are really cheap and perform better than any "free" software you might find.
