Using DMZ

Hi every one,

I would like to know how to utilize DMZ port for exchange front end server on a hardware firewall like netscreen??
I mean how to configure it, like i have a DMZ port and then in side firewall i have configuration options for setting IP, what will be the IP address of DMZ port?? one of IPs of the block i got form ISP?? or the private IP of the exchange frontend server??

I am looking for resources on how to set up a DMZ without the use of a hardware firewall. I am mostly in need on the necessary access lists for the internal and external routers. Many thanks in advance.
