I have used several flavors of CC. It's strength isn't installing as a firewall/gateway. This distro's strength is giving a new Linux user a single CD, easy to install Linux basic server. Also gives you a visual clue as to the importance of IDS( via SNORT). Puts a GUI on top of IPTables.
